Wilma Grice

Wilma Grice, 84, of Big Spring died Saturday, Jan. 21, 2012, in a Greenville, Texas, nursing home. Graveside funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 28, 2012, at the Peace Chapel at Trinity Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 5:30 p.m. until 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

She was born Aug. 25, 1927, in Colorado City, Texas, and married L.D. Grice on July 28, 1945, in Big Spring, Texas. Wilma worked and retired from the I.U.O.E. Local 826 and served as a volunteer at Scenic Mountain Medical Center for many years. She was a member of First Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, L.D. Grice of Big Spring; two sons, Greg Grice and wife Lucy of Montgomery, Ala., and Kit Grice and wife Anita of Pampa; one daughter, Kim Lockhart and husband Steven of Greenville; one sister, Glenora Wall of Big Spring; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Lonnie Evans.
