Young Eagles to fly Saturday

October 26, 2010

Special to the Herald

If at first you can't get off the ground, try, try again.
The EAA Young Eagles flights that had ben canceled earlier this year because of bad weather will be held this Saturday, according to Hangar 25 Air Museum personnel.
Children who registered in May do not need to register again. Those participating are asked to meet at 8:30 a.m. at the museum.
Parents of children between the ages of 8 and 17 who did not register in May but would like their child to participate should call the Hangar 25 Air Museum for information. Registration is free.
The Young Eagles flight experience is brought to Big Spring by EAA Chapter 123 in Midland and the Hangar 25 Air Museum. Naturally, flying depends on weather conditions. All children must be registered in accordance with the guidelines of the Experimental Aircraft Association.
