• The Big Spring ISD combined choir concert to honor U.S. Military Veterans, 7 p.m., Tuesday, First Baptist Church, 705 W. FM 700. The concert is free and open to the general public

• VAMC community-wide Veterans Day Ceremony, 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dorothy Garrett Coliseum, 1001 Birdwell Lane. Free luncheon to follow in the East Room.

• Veteran’s Day Luncheon, 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Wednesday, Big Sprint Intermediate School Library, 200o S. Goliad. All veterans are welcome. Entertainment provided by Dave’s Honor Choir and Rhapsody

• An Attitude of Graditude - Forsan Elementary School Veterans Day Celebration, 2:15 p.m., Forsan Elementary School.

• Keep Big Spring Beautiful E-Waste, Friday to Saturday. On Friday, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., volunteers will be collecting computers from businesses and anyone white 10 plus computers. On Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., volunteers will be accepting e-waste from the general public.

• Howard College concert series, Saturday, Nov. 14, 5 p.m., Hall Center for the Arts, 1001 Birdwell Lane. Guest Artist Brandon McDannald will perform on French Horn. Tickets are $5 for the general public.
• St. Andrews Day, Sunday, 7 p.m., St. Mary’s Episcopal Church, 10th and Goliad. The Celebration is a combination of music for pipes and drums, brass and organ, choral anthems, hymns, Scottish folk songs, the presentation of flags, and a section of patriotic songs sung by the choir and congregation. The event is free to the public.

• The Big Spring Art Show, 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. daily, Red Barn Studio, 6414 South Service Road, during the hours of 2 p.m. to 7 p.m, through Saturday, Nov. 14.
