Bulldogs/Bulldogettes find alternate venues for home games

With the arrival of baseball and softball season, many Coahoma Bulldog and Bulldogette fans may be racking up miles to see the teams play live.
Both home fields are currently under construction to install artificial playing fields, new fencing, and upgrades to the dugout areas. The renovations are part of several projects funded through a $4 million bond passed by voters in the Nov. 7, 2017 election.
According to Coahoma ISD Superintendent Dr. Amy Jacobs, both projects are currently on target to have the fields ready by the third week of March.
“The plan is for the upgrades to the baseball and softball dugouts to be completed shortly after the fields are completed. Once the fields are installed at the stadiums, we should be ready to go,” Jacobs said. “As soon as Spring Break is over, we hope to be back on our own fields for home district games.”
