Cynthia Middleton, 68, of Big Spring died Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2011, at her daughter’s residence. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. Friday at Myers & Smith Funeral Home. Graveside memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Trinity Memorial Park Peace Chapel.
She was born July 11, 1943, in Detroit, Mich., to Marla and James Cameron. She married Robert L. “Bob” Middleton, April 18, 1964, in Tucson, Ariz. They moved to Big Spring in 1976 from El Paso. He preceded her in death on March 6, 1999. Cynthia was a homemaker and a caregiver, having cared for her husband for many years. She then did home care for many other people. She was a Baptist having attended Hillcrest and College Baptist churches.
Cynthia is survived by one daughter: Brenda Hamm of Big Spring; one son: Michael Middleton and his wife Taylor of Georgia; two grandchildren: Ashley Saiz and her husband Jonath of Big Spring and Sean Middleton of Georgia; one great-grandson; Caleb Saiz of Big Spring; mother-in-law: Mae Lipscomb of Greer, S.C.; two brothers: Bruce Cameron and his wife Carolyn of Dallas and Jay Cameron and his wife Carolyn of Washington; and a very dear friend: Lura Perry.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents.
