WESTBROOK — Sixteen seniors will receive their diplomas when Westbrook High School holds commencement exercises at 7 p.m. Friday in the school auditorium.
Alexis Nobles, daughter of Tracy Rees, is class valedictorian. During her high school career, she was active in National Honor Society, student council and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
In athletics, she participated in basketball, tennis and cross-country.
She was also active in her church, as well, participating in mission trips to Nepal and Romania.
Nobles plans to attend Texas Tech University and major in biology, eventually earning a graduate degree in occupational therapy.
Kenzey Morris, daughter of Jason and Barbara Morris and Shaundra and Robert Rodriguez, is class salutatorian. During high school, she was a member of NHL, student council, FCA and was president of the Westbrook chapter of Future Farmers of America.
Her extra-curricular activities include one-act play, cheerleading, cross-country, basketball, softball and track.
Like Nobles, she is active in her church, having participated in missionary work to several states and Romania.
She will attend McMurry University in the fall and eventually plans to attend medical school.
Members of the WHS Class of 2013 are Koe Sierra Alvarez, Kaitlynn Rose Andrews, Kaitlyn Briane Forbes, Dakota Clyde Ginkinger, Gabriel Gutierrez, Jr., Brianna Christine Jones, Mason Alan Clemmer Knowlton, Reanna Michele Morin Krapf , Kenzie Rae Milani, Tobias Anthony Milani, Jared Wayne Pierce, Kenzey Mckay Morris, Alexis Jade Nobles, William Hayden Redwine, Dylan Ray Register and William Kutter Stewart-Armstead.
