Providence Dickson, fourth from left, along with her family, delivers donations to Cook Children’s Hospital in Fort Worth this past weekend. The 13-year-old opted to give up her birthday presents this year to hold a donation drive for the hospital. Providence’s cousin, Graham Leatham, was a patient of Cook for several weeks earlier this year before he passed away from complications of Type 1 Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA). He was 7-monhts-old at the time of his death. Providence wanted to give back to the hospital staff for the kindness they showed to the family when Graham was a patient.
