Some call it the most exciting eight seconds in sports, and for many it’s the most exciting three days in Big Spring.
The Big Spring Cowboy Reunion and Rodeo kicks off tonight at 7 p.m., and rodeo board member Derek Wash is ready to have some fun.
“I personally say that it’s the most intensely packed two-plus hours that you’ll get anywhere. It’s just packed full of family entertainment. It’s just nonstop entertainment for that amount of time, and in my mind it’s the biggest thing we ever bring through here. We’re built down in an old concrete bowl and you won’t find that anywhere else,” Wash said. “Big Spring was built by these cowboys, and we continue to try and keep up that heritage and that legacy.”
