Buffs defeat Nazareth 19-10 in warm-up game for playoffs

The Forsan varsity baseball team was a strong force at the plate in their playoff warm-up game on Friday, which resulted in a 19-10 victory over the Nazareth Swifts.
Forsan had a huge offensive game as they collected a total of 18 hits. Yeater, Ehren Hillger, Christian and Darden all had multiple hits for the Buffs. Pineda led the team offensively as he went 3-5 on the day with five runs batted in.
“We got the bats going again tonight,” said East. “Most of the guys had multiple hits and most of those hits were hard shots.”
The Buffs first playoff game will be against the Fort Hancock Mustangs, and will take place in Ft. Stockton at 7 p.m. Friday, May 5.
