College trustees to call for rollback election

Staff Writer

Howard College trustees are expected to formally call for a rollback election on the district's tax rate when they meet at 12:30 p.m. Monday in the Student Union Building's Tumbleweed Room.

The election, expected to be held early next year, will allow voters to decide whether to accept the college's new tax rate of 25 cents per $100 property valuation.
