It was a weekend of solid softball from Howard College as they came away with two shut out victories over Frank Phillips College on Friday and two dominant wins over Clarendon College on Saturday to clinch their first place conference finish.
“I am so proud of this team. We only lost two conference games and were undefeated at home,” said head softball coach Kelly Raines. “These last home games were great, and the girls played so awesome. I couldn’t ask for more from them and I hope we can carry that into next week.”
Up Next, the Lady Hawks will move on to the regional tournament this weekend where their first game will be held at Lubbock Christian University at 5:30 p.m.
