Parrishes are Europe bound

“Watch out Europe, here we come,” said Candy Parrish, on a Facebook post after their fundraiser, Shells for Cells, helped them reach their goal, and then some, which now allows the family to travel to Europe so that Garett Parish can receive stem cell treatment to help him on his road to recovery.
Garett was injured on Feb. 27, 2015 from a sledding accident where he suffered a spinal cord injury. Stem cells have helped in Garett's recovery, but since stem cell treatment isn't offered in the United States, Parish and his family must travel to Germany for his treatments. Thanks to a successful Shells for Cells, a benefit held on Saturday for the Parrish family, now they can.
