STAAR glitch affects area schools

A computer glitch is to blame for a problem which caused some public school students in Texas — including Big Spring and Forsan school districts — to have their state test scores inadvertently deleted.

Area school officials stressed that any students affected by the computer problem will be allowed to retake the State of Texas Assessment of Academic Readiness (STAAR) exam.
