• Howard College will hold seven informational meeting throughout the month over the upcoming tax rollback election set for mid-January.

• Even with freezing weather, the Salvation Army Red Kettle volunteers headed out to raise money for the charity organization.

• In their first of two games in Warner, Okla., the Howard College women’s basketball team defeated Connors State 48-37, improving to 9-3 on the season

• After dropping three out of four games, the Howard College men’s basketball team got a much needed win in the first round of the NMMI Thanksgiving Classic.The Hawks dominated Northern NM College in all phases en route to an 87-46 victory.
