The first annual Bikes Across Big Spring was held today.  A large crowd of motorcyclists and local businesses came together to raise awareness for Motorcycle drivers and raise funds for a good cause.

Food 2 Kids kicked off another year tonight.  Several volunteers returned and several new faces joined the effort.  Several organizations were in attendance and helped sack more than 350 bags.  The group will meet every first Monday and Tuesday of the month at 5:30 p.m.

A new exhibit representing the history and advancement of mental health has been revealed at the Heritage Museum. 

AUSTIN – Services for Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) Trooper Moises Sanchez will begin Thursday, Sept. 5, in Edinburg, Texas. Sanchez, 49, died Aug. 24, nearly five months after he was shot in the line of duty.
