Police seek suspect in Thursday double murder

The police issued the following statement regarding the incident:

“On the 17th of November 2022 at approximately 9:12 p.m., Big Spring Police Department officers were dispatched to the area of 16th and Lexington regarding several gunshots being fired. Upon arrival it was found that the gunshots had originated from within 1227 E. 16th Apartment B. Upon entering the residence officers found two adult males laying on the floor with apparent gunshot wounds. Big Spring Fire Department Emergency Medical Services were called to the scene but unfortunately both the males had succumbed to their injuries. Officers were notified that a third victim, an adult female had arrived at Scenic Mountain Medical Center for treatment of a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.
