Scenic Mountain Medical Center is proud to share that the first baby of the New Year at SMMC was born at 10:25 a.m. on Jan. 2, 2021.

The baby boy named Joel was 6 pounds and 19 inches long. Joel’s parents are Leah Yanez and Joel Espino Jr.
