Upcoming election on tap for BSISD meeting Thursday

In preparation for the election, scheduled May 6, the board will consider a resolution to enter into a joint election agreement with the City of Big Spring, and consider contracting with the Howard County Election Administrator to conduct the school trustees election. 

Currently up for election are the District 1 seat, currently held by Tom Olague; and the District 3 seat, currently held by Julie Harris.

Following the meeting's opening prayer and pledge, a time will be available for public comment. If you would like to address the board, please arrive to the meeting early to register to do so.
