County anticipates cuts in next budget

Howard County officials are already planning on belt-tightening when they start crafting the next fiscal year's budget.

During Monday's commissioners' meeting, County Judge Kathryn Wiseman said falling mineral valuations brought about by the downturn in oil prices will likely cause officials to pare down the county's budget in the next fiscal year.
