A 1930s police car and a 1940s truck are among the 50 vintage cars rambling their way to Big Spring for a brief stop Sunday before resuming the group’s tour .
“This will be a once-in-lifetime chance to see this many vintage cars in such good condition,” said Hayley Lewis, Convention and Visitors Bureau coordinator.
Sponsored by the Antique American Independent Automobile Association, the tour will consist of American-made vehicles manufactured in the 1920s to the 1960s. These are privately owned vehicles that have been kept historically correct.
The entourage will make a brief stop on Johnson Street next to the Hotel Settles Lawn from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
