Tuesday storm disrupts electrical service for 1,500+

More than 1,000 utility customers had their electrical service interrupted by high winds and lightning storms that blew through the area Tuesday.

Sharyland Utilities reported more than 1,500 customers in its West Texas service area — which includes Howard, Glasscock and Martin counties — were without power Tuesday evening.
