The Big Spring Steers have been selected as a finalist for the Dave Campbell’s Texas Football Community Connection School of the Year award presented by Optimum. As a part of the recognition, longtime Big Spring resident and booster club secretary, Priscilla Hilario, was recognized for her service to the Big Spring community on a special Zoom call and was presented with the Community Connector Award.
Fifteen schools across Texas are competing for the crown and the school with the most online votes wins a $2,500 donation. The Big Spring Steers are now currently 7th place for the Community Connector School of the Year Award and $2,500 grand prize. Vote for Big Spring High School now!
