Heading into the bottom of the sixth inning, the Big Spring Steers trailed Levelland 8-5 before going on a six-run rally in the frame to take a three run lead over the Loboes. The late scoring rally would prove to be too much for Levelland as the Steers closed out the game winning 11-8.
Levelland jumped out to a quick 2-0 lead in the top of the first inning, before the Steers responded back by putting up three runs in the bottom of the frame to take a 3-2 lead.
Big Spring's would score the first run for the Steers on a steal at home plate. Big Spring's Braxton Sizenbach would bring in the Steers second off of a double ground ball to short. Levelland would surrender the third run to the Steers, courtesy of three consecutive walks before getting out of the inning. Levellenad would tie it up in the top of the second scoring one run to make it 3-3.
Big Spring would take the lead back in the bottom of the third thanks to Josiah Aguero. Aguero would ground out but not before bringing in a run for the Steers. Levelland would take its first lead of the game in the top of the fourth putting up three runs to make it 6-4. Big Spring would cut that lead by one in the bottom of the fourth thanks to an Eric Aguliar single.
