Steers & Lady Steers drop District 5-4A games to Snyder

Big Spring's Emily Carreon waits for a pass from a teammate during the Lady Steers game against Snyder Friday night at Steer Gym. The Lady Steers fought hard but in the end fell to the Lady Tigers 67-23. The Big Spring Steers also played Snyder Friday night to open up District 5-4A play against the Tigers. Despite a strong 4th quarter the Steers fell just short of the win losing 51-40. Both the Steers and Lady Steers will travel to San Angelo today to take on the Lakeview Chiefs and Maidens. Tipoff for both the girls and boys games is at 7:30 p.m.
